Duncan-Parnell wins North Carolina’s Mid-Market Fast 40 award for 2014
Duncan-Parnell is proud to have been selected by NC Business & Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P for North Carolina’s Mid-Market Fast 40 list. The Fast 40 recognizes companies with sustained growth throughout times of recession, and highlights those who are focused on continued and consistent workforce and revenue advancement.
Duncan-Parnell was recognized for increased sales over the last three years. “We were well-positioned coming out of the recession to sustain growth and took measures to increase growth through financial prudence, acquisitions and expansion of product lines” explains Vicki Hafele, CFO. Mark Duncan, President, believes that the “diversification of product lines illustrates the company’s ability to adapt and respond to industry trends which greatly attributed to continued financial growth.”
Aside from Duncan-Parnell’s traditional offering of survey & mapping equipment and reprographics printing services, focusing on growth into newer technologies such as 3D Print and Prototyping and BIM related construction information management solutions for the building construction industry has helped to expand its customer base. Additionally, Duncan-Parnell recently expanded into Tennessee and Virginia to increase its geographic markets. Quality products, value-added services, and convenient locations have contributed to the overall production and profitability of Duncan-Parnell.

The NC Mid-Market FAST 40 annual program was developed by Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P. in 2011 and is presented by Business North Carolina. All rankings are objectively based on the companies that demonstrated the highest weighted three-year average growth in revenue and employment with 75% toward revenue growth and 25% toward employee growth.
