Duncan-Parnell continues its Sharing Success initiative by participating in another Habitat for Humanity Build! Read more below.

For the past eight years, Duncan-Parnell has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to sponsor full house builds, providing us the opportunity to give back to the communities we serve and operate in. Each year, we not only sponsor a house, but also volunteer to help build a home for a wonderful and deserving family.

We're happy to share that Duncan-Parnell and BuildingPoint SouthEast, in partnership with CADD Microsystems, will be taking on another Habitat build this year. The location of this home will be in Charlotte, NC, not too far from our company headquarters.

“We at Duncan-Parnell are grateful to have found such a worthy cause that, not only gives us a sense of pride in a job well done, but also allows us to give back to the communities that have provided the environment for our success,” said Mark Duncan, president of Duncan-Parnell. This year's build will be the fourth home the company has built in its hometown Charlotte with Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region.

Last year's build also took place in Charlotte and was dedicated to a family of seven. This year's build will kick off on October 20 and will provide safe and affordable housing to another deserving family.

“We are grateful for this partnership with Duncan-Parnell and Habitat for Humanity,” said Jeff Gravatte, CEO of CADD Microsystems. “The vision of the CADD Foundation is to inspire everyone to find their passion for volunteerism, and this is the perfect opportunity to put that vision into practice to make a positive, long-lasting impact on the lives of this family and the greater Charlotte area.”

The build is expected to be finished at the end of January 2023 and will end with a dedication ceremony and ribbon-cutting to welcome the new homeowners, the Mohammed family.

Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped millions of people worldwide achieve strength, stability and independence through safe, decent and affordable shelter. Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region was founded in 1983, and since then has served over 2,800 families. Their vision is to live in a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
