CHARLOTTE, NC – Duncan-Parnell, a leading provider of geospatial technology solutions, has partnered with Emesent to become an authorized distributor of the Hovermap ST-X LiDAR Scanning Kit. This collaboration strengthens Duncan-Parnell’s ability to deliver advanced mobile LiDAR scanning and SLAM-based mapping solutions to customers across a wide range of industries.
Hovermap combines autonomous flight technology, advanced collision avoidance, and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) to safely capture accurate data in hazardous or GPS-denied environments. Its flexible design allows it to be used handheld, mounted on a drone, or mounted on a vehicle, making it ideal for mapping areas that are difficult or unsafe to access.
Hovermap also delivers high-density point clouds with a sensing range of up to 300 meters and more than one million points per second. This enables teams to quickly generate detailed and precise maps, moving from data capture to actionable insights with greater efficiency.
Used worldwide in the mining, engineering, and geospatial industries, Hovermap helps organizations map complex or inaccessible environments with confidence. Additionally, real-time point cloud streaming through the Hovermap app provides instant visibility of data being captured, ensuring full coverage before leaving the site.
