Course Description In this 2 day class learn about the geospatial features and functions of AutoCAD Map 3D 2010, including how to create, manage, and analyze geospatial data. In addition learn the fundamental and advanced features of the geospatial tools in AutoCAD Map 3D 2010. This course includes: Establishing a Geospatial Environment • Connecting to a Feature Source • Working With Point Data • Using Coordinate Systems • Query Features on Connect Stylizing Features • Stylizing Features Editing Features • Editing Feature Attributes and Geometry • Working with DEM Files • Moving Data Between DWG™ Objects and FDO Features • Merging and Splitting Features Managing Features • Using Bulk Copy • Using Joins with Feature Sources • Using Buffers • Using Calculated Properties • Adding Geospatial Data Validation • Using Overlay Analysis Workflows • Using Workflow Designer for Overlay Analysis Job Processes • Updating Parcels with a Newly Subdivided Zoning Area • Creating a Map Using Cartographic Standards • Sharing Geospatial Data with a Third Party

Cancellations: Due to limited class size, Duncan-Parnell must maintain a firm refund policy for cancellations. 1) If you cancel your seat no less than 10 business days prior to the class, your registration will be refunded in full. 2) If you cancel your seat up to 10 business days prior to the class, your registration fee will be refunded less a 50% cancellation fee. 3) We regret we cannot refund any fees if you fail to attend and have not notified Duncan-Parnell prior to the start of the class.
