Course Description This 2 day class is designed for engineers and designers who need to use AutoCAD Civil 3D to perform roadway design tasks more accurately and in less time. This course includes: Introduction to Roadway Design • Reviewing Roadway Design Project Data Designing Horizontal Alignments • Creating Horizontal Alignments • Evaluating and Editing Horizontal Alignments • Applying and Editing Superelevation • Vertical Alignments • Evaluate and Edit Vertical Alignments Designing Profiles • Creating Profiles • Evaluating and Editing and Design Profiles Modeling Corridors • Reviewing Design Considerations • Creating Reconstructed Roadway Assemblies • Creating Mill and Overlay Roadway Assemblies • Creating Roadway Corridors • Viewing and Editing Corridors Designing Intersections • Creating Intersections with the Wizard • Editing Intersections Computing Quantities • Computing End Area Volumes • Calculating Quantity Takeoff Using Pay Items

Cancellations: Due to limited class size, Duncan-Parnell must maintain a firm refund policy for cancellations. 1) If you cancel your seat no less than 10 business days prior to the class, your registration will be refunded in full. 2) If you cancel your seat up to 10 business days prior to the class, your registration fee will be refunded less a 50% cancellation fee. 3) We regret we cannot refund any fees if you fail to attend and have not notified Duncan-Parnell prior to the start of the class.
